Benefiting Camp Hope
Every year FarmHouse hosts a philanthropy in which sororities across campus participate in. This year it benefits Camp Hope in Ste. Genevieve, MO. Throughout the philanthropy week, there are serenades to the chapters of participating sororities and the actual event itself. This year, FarmHouse hosted the "FarmHouse Rodeo” philanthropy, which consisted of a variety of farm themed games. Members from participating sororities signed up teams of four or five and were then paired with a member of FarmHouse to be their coach. Some events the participants experienced were a hay bale toss, watermelon eating contest, bobbing for apples, and riding a mechanical bull. FarmHouse's goal is to create an enjoyable philanthropy for all participants, and raise money and awareness for Camp Hope.
FarmHouse's main goal is to provide Camp Hope with funds to create an enjoyable and relaxing environment for our country's veterans. Donations from sponsor companies, individuals, and various organizations help make our event possible.
